In Detail
Why Uptime Kuma on Your Own Server?
Monitoring shouldn’t run on the server it watches. On a root server of its own, Uptime Kuma checks your services from the outside, with no limit on the number of monitors and no subscription.
Uptime Kuma checks at fixed intervals whether your websites, APIs and servers respond – via HTTP(S), ping, TCP port, DNS and other check types, optionally including the expiry date of the TLS certificate. If something fails, it alerts you through dozens of channels, including Telegram, Discord, Slack and e-mail. You can put together public status pages for your users. During the install the panel creates your admin account right away with the username you chose and a generated password – the setup page where the first visitor would otherwise create the account is already taken care of. If you like, Uptime Kuma runs on your domain with HTTPS.
