Why CloudBeaver on Your Own Server?

With CloudBeaver you do not need a database client on every machine: you set up connections once and reach them from anywhere in the browser. Your credentials stay on your server, not with a third-party service.

CloudBeaver is the web interface from the makers of DBeaver. You connect to PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQLite and many other databases, write queries in the SQL editor with autocompletion, edit tables right in the data view and explore the structure of your schemas. The panel installs the Community Edition of CloudBeaver and creates your admin user with a generated password – so the setup wizard is not left open on the internet. You manage further users and their permissions in CloudBeaver’s administration. If you like, the panel sets up your domain with HTTPS, now or later; we recommend it because database passwords travel through the interface. 1 GB of RAM is enough to get started.

Answers to the most important questions

Which databases does CloudBeaver support?
Among others PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQLite and Microsoft SQL Server. The Community Edition already ships with the matching drivers.
Can I manage databases on other servers?
Yes, as long as they are reachable from your root server. Ideally allow access only from your CloudBeaver server’s IP or connect through an SSH tunnel instead of opening databases to the whole internet.
Is CloudBeaver an alternative to phpMyAdmin?
Yes, with the difference that CloudBeaver is not limited to MySQL. You manage several database systems in one interface.
What does CloudBeaver cost?
The Community Edition is open source and free. You only pay for the root server package.
