Why Langflow on Your Own Server?

Flows, API keys and test data live on your server instead of in someone else’s cloud. You build as many flows as the resources allow and call them from your own applications through the built-in API.

Langflow is an open-source toolkit for AI applications: you drag components for language models, prompts, vector databases and tools onto a canvas and connect them into a flow. Every flow can be tested right in the browser and then embedded via API or as a chat widget. The panel installs Langflow with auto-login switched off and creates your admin user with a generated password. Newly created accounts stay inactive until you activate them. If you like, the panel sets up your domain with HTTPS, now or later. Plan for at least 2 GB of RAM; you connect the models themselves through the providers’ API keys or your own model server.

Do I need to know how to code?
Not for many flows: you connect starter projects and components by drag and drop. If you want more, you can adapt components directly in Python.
Which models and databases are supported?
Langflow ships with components for common providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Google as well as for Ollama and various vector databases. You enter the credentials in each component.
How do I use a flow in my application?
Every flow has an API endpoint you call over HTTP; Langflow shows matching code examples right away. With your own domain the call runs encrypted over HTTPS.
How do I back up my flows?
You export flows from Langflow as JSON files. In addition, back up the whole server with the server backups in the panel.
