Docker Server
The perfect server for container workloads — Docker, Kubernetes, Portainer and more. NVMe SSD storage and VXLAN private networks for multi-container setups.
Why a Root Server for Docker?
Full root access for Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes or Portainer. VXLAN private networks enable secure communication between multiple servers in your cluster.
Minimum Requirements
All Benefits at a Glance
Full root access — install anything
Install any software, any runtime, any version — no restrictions from panels or shared hosting.
NVMe SSD Ceph HA storage
High-performance NVMe SSDs in a Ceph HA cluster for maximum I/O performance and 3x redundancy.
VXLAN private networks
Connect multiple servers in an isolated VXLAN Layer 2 network — encrypted and without public IPs.
Full SSH root access
Connect anytime via SSH and manage your server with full administrator privileges.
550 Gbit/s DDoS protection included
Permanent protection with 550 Gbit/s filter capacity — included free with every server.
24/7 online — no shutdowns
Your server runs around the clock on enterprise hardware — no forced reboots or maintenance windows.
Docker & Container Hosting in Detail
Our root servers are the ideal platform for containerized workloads. You get full root access with KVM virtualization that natively supports Docker, containerd and Kubernetes — no OpenVZ or LXC with limited container support. Install Docker Engine, Docker Compose and Portainer in minutes and manage your containers through a modern web UI. For larger setups, use our VXLAN private networks to connect multiple servers in an isolated, private network — perfect for Kubernetes clusters, Docker Swarm or microservice architectures. NVMe SSDs in the Ceph HA cluster provide the I/O performance that container workloads with many small file accesses need. With up to 12 vCores and 64 GB RAM you scale from a single container to complex multi-service deployments.

Answers to the most important questions
Yes. Our servers use KVM virtualization with their own kernel — Docker, containerd, Kubernetes and all container runtimes work without restrictions. No OpenVZ, no LXC.
VXLAN private networks connect multiple servers in an isolated, private Layer 2 network. Communication runs encrypted and without public IPs — perfect for container clusters where services need to communicate internally.
Yes. You can set up k3s, MicroK8s or a full kubeadm cluster. For multi-node clusters use VXLAN private networks to securely connect the nodes. We recommend at least 8 GB RAM per node.
Via command line with docker/docker-compose, or via Portainer as web UI. Portainer can be installed as a container in under a minute and provides a clear management interface for all your containers, images and volumes.
